Pricing

Latitude separates the service price from the rules that calculate it, so a tariff can change without rebuilding every service.

A pricing model groups rules by customer or operation type. Rules may include:

  • base sale;
  • vehicle-type surcharge;
  • customer conditions;
  • cost components.

Before saving a rule, use the simulator to check the amount for a concrete case. It shows the base sale, the adjustment and the final sale.

  1. Define a simple rule first and validate it with operations.
  2. Document any exception agreed with the customer.
  3. Review the impact of a change before applying it to an open plan.
  4. Do not use price as a substitute for real cost: both must be coherent.

The plan detail shows the base sale, truck-type adjustment and final sale for each service. Reports allow you to compare cost, sale and margin.
